Pet of the Month - November, 2007
Ida W.
I had an inauspicious start. My folks found me
from a backyard breeder who had me in a large, cold garage with other
puppies. Though they hated the situation their hearts would not let them
leave me there. Let's see... here are a few facts about me that will help
you to know the true me. I love popcorn and my big brother Zeke. He is
really fun to chase, chew on, and nap with. He loves all of it by the way.
Any toy that has rope around it so I thwap it about while
running. Cutting down the time on how long it takes a toy to be ripped
apart. I do not like to wear my coat. I refuse to move in protest for as
long as I can. Also, I don't like getting into cars (I'm not thrilled about
riding in them either). I do like it when I arrive at out destination
however. The State Park is fabulous. It's so much fun to watch the birds and
people. I get to bark at "things", meet new people, take walks, digging,
and chasing flying and crawly bugs. My folks say I look like a piglet. When
I'm stretch out on the floor they say I look like I'm flying. Ooooh... pigs,
I love pigs. And cows. There are Pigs and cows across the road, I go see
them whenever I get the chance.
IF YOUR DOG HAD A MAJOR IN COLLEGE WHAT WOULD IT BE:
Environmental Sciences:
Loves the field work. The counting of animal population (big and small),
checking out the fauna and testing of the deep soil (digging).
IF YOUR DOG WROTE A PERSONAL AD, WHAT WOULD IT SAY? Would you like a good hunting partner? I am it. I will help by digging at the little varmints till they are gone. Help in forging raging waters (running creeks) and by helping when you fall down. When time to go in I will snuggle up to let you warm me and scratch my tummy.
